Former deputy prime minister Chris Cardonna has slammed allegations that he was involved in a murder plot to get rid of Daphne Caruana Galizia as “pure evil fiction”.
The Times of Malta is reporting that Chris Cardonna has been implicated in a 2015 plot to kill Daphne Caruana Galizia by Vince Muscat who earlier this week confessed to her killing. Muscat was given a Presidential Pardon for giving police the names of those behind the murder of lawyer Carmel Chircop in 2015.
Chris Cardonna said he strongly and categorically denied what he termed as false allegations.
