Two men, one 36 years old living in Birkirkara and another 47 years old living in Qormi, were treated at a health center after being involved in an argument on Friday morning.
Police received a report at 11am that two men were involved in an argument and that two women also became involved.
One of the women allegedly hit the 36-year-old man with an iron who was later certified to have suffered serious injuries.
