The Ministry of Health has confirmed that two elderly people died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In the first case, a 77-year-old man, who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on December 4, died yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
In the second case, an 89-year-old woman, who was tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, December 7, died earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the families of the elderly, calls on everyone to remain vigilant and follow preventive measures; hand washing, wearing masks and physical distance.
