A police constable from the Traffic Section was taken to Mater Dei Hospital after he was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Ħal Far.
The accident, which happened at around 1.40pm on Sunday, happened as the officer was going to assist District Police on inspections in the Industrial Zone.
The officer apparently fell off his bike and sustained the injuries. He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
