The Australian city of Melbourne has extended it’s coronavirus lockdown by a further two weeks with authorities saying the slowdown of infections declined more slowly than hoped.
The lockdown had been expected to end on Septemer 13.
Restrictions. though not as severe as before, will see the continuation of a curfew although residents will be allowed to go outside for two hours instead of one.
