A second man arrested over the double murder of Christian Pandolfino and Ivor Maciejowsk in Sliema pleaded not guilty when he appeared in court.
Viktor Dragomanski from Macedonia had been hiding in a hotel in Gzira when he was arrested late Wednesday evening after an attempted rooftop escape.
