During a press conference held on Tuesday evening at the Police General Headquarters, Police Commissioner Angelo Gafà briefed the media present on the latest updates in relation to the double murder which occurred today week in Sliema.
Following an operation involving the Major Crimes Unit, the Special Intervention Unit and the Forensic Section, a man of foreign nationality was arrested in a residence at Floriana and is believed to be the prime suspect in this murder. Whilst investigations are still ongoing, the investigators are considering the murder to be related to a robbery.
