Malta and Kuwait discuss strengthening ties

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Evarist Bartolo had a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, H.H. Sheikh Dott. Ahmed Nasser Al Mohammad Al Sabah, where they discussed strengthening ties between the two countries and their share for peace and stability in Libya, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

The two Ministers agreed to work together for the good of both countries in the political, social and trade spheres.

They expressed concern about the conflict in Libya and hoped that the Libyans would be given the necessary support to cease fighting and solve their own problems and start developing Libya for the good of the Libyans themselves.

On tensions in the eastern Mediterranean, they called for dialogue and negotiations between Turkey, Greece, Cyprus and Egypt to reach an agreement using the common good instead of using the common good. the force that will surely create more problems.

The Minister of Kuwait said that his country will never forget how much Malta good did   for Kuwait in the United Nations during the time of former President Guido de Marco during the invasion 30 years ago.
