Parliamentary Secretary for Active Aging and People with Disabilities Silvio Parnis has officially opened applications for the 2020 Seniority Award.
The Active Aging Award is a celebration of a great deal of work, commitment and dedication in the field of active aging. This is an annual event that will be part of the celebrations that take place in the month of October, which is dedicated to the elderly. This year, the board is accepting applications for nine awards: Active Aging Award; Married Couple Award; Academic Seniority Award; Sports Aging Award; Ideal Model Award; Cultural Seniority Award; Intergenerational Solidarity Award and two new awards, called the Residential Active Aging Award and Best Grandma Award.
The application can be obtained from the Parliamentary Secretariat for Active Aging and Persons with Disabilities, Palazzo Ferreria, Republic Street, Valletta, Malta, by email at premjuanzanitaattiva.mfcs@gov.mt, from the website www.activeageing.gov.mt or from local council offices.
Nominations close on 30 September 2020.
