Nationalist Party councillors have voted to hold a leadership election.
The vote was tight, 839 votes (55.6%) to 659, but with this being the third confidence vote that Delia has lost, his future prospects look bleak.
In a press conference after the results of the vote were announced he said that if he lost the leadership of the Nationalist Party, he would still remain a member of parliament and would continue to work for the party for the next general election.
