Health Minister Chris Fearne told journalists that the government has commenced legal proceedings against Skanska, the main contractor of the construction of Mater Dei, over faulty concrete that was found throughout the hospital.
He said the government was contesting a waiver, granted by the previous Nationalist government, that absolved construction company Skansa from any liability.
