Pembroke stunned high-flying B’Kara with a 2-1 win at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in a match that had been postponed at the weekend due to heavy rain.
It was a second defeat in three games for B’Kara.
As for Pembroke they picked up their first points of the season but they remain anchored at the foot of the table.
Hamrun and Floriana ended in a 1-1 draw, a result that did lifts Floriana to fourth, just above Valletta on goal difference.
