A 75-year-old woman was grievously injured in Pjazza tad-Dehra, Ghajnsielem, Gozo.
Police say the accident happened at around 4.30pm when the woman was hit by a car driven by a 27-year-old man from Nadur.
The woman was taken to Gozo General Hospital for medical treatment.
