A 4.6-magnitude earthquake which struck the Italian island of Sicily on Tuesday evening was also felt in parts of Malta.
The Italian news agency ANSA said tremors were felt mainly in Ragusa, Syracuse and Catania.
There were no reports of any damage in Malta.
