70-Year-old man dies after testing positive for Covid-19

The Ministry of Health has confirmed that a 70-year-old man died after testing positive for Covid-19.

The man, who was suffering from another chronic illness, was admitted to Mater Dei hospital on October 15 and tested positive for Covid-19 on the same day. He continued to be treated at Mater Dei hospital where he died yesterday.

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, calls on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, keep the physical distance and use of the mask everywhere.
