The Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri has announced the programme of Gozo Pops & Rocks 2025, a diverse range of events that will form a dynamic cultural programme that will bring together the talent, creativity and community spirit of the island of Gozo. Between 23 May and 14 June 2025, Gozo will be transformed into a vibrant arena of arts and music, with a variety of activities to suit everyone’s tastes.
This year’s edition of Pops & Rocks will feature a number of headline acts including Leone Goes Pop, Rockastra and Big Band Adventures. The Honey Festival, which will be held in the Villa Rundle Gardens, will continue to showcase the link between Gozo and honey, an industry that dates back centuries. The Experimental Farm, Xewkija will host the Furry Tails & Farm Trails event and the much-anticipated Lejl Imkebbes event, with lights and entertainment at the Citadel, will once again create a magical atmosphere that reminds us of the historical and cultural beauty of this iconic site. These activities combine tradition with innovation and make Gozo a point of reference in the cultural sector.
Minister Clint Camilleri stated that “our goal has always been to attract more people to the island of Gozo even in the months that were traditionally slower. The latest statistics clearly indicate that this is being achieved. In fact, in winter 2024 tourism to Gozo increased by 44% compared to 2023. If you look then tourism in autumn increased by 32% over the previous year. Therefore, we must continue to work, incentivizing so that Gozo truly becomes Gozo for every season.”
Minister Clint Camilleri thanked everyone who works to make Gozo Pops & Rocks 2025 a reality while inviting everyone to visit Gozo in this celebration of creativity and culture.
