The first Eurodesk conference for young people is held in Malta: Create Your Shape, Extend Your Potential

Aġenzija Żżażagħa organized the first Eurodesk conference in Malta with the theme ‘Create Your Shape, Extend Your Potential’. This conference brought together several young people or people who work with young people from various local and foreign organizations to discuss together and come up with ideas for the good of young people.
Through a number of workshops led by the youth workers of Aġenzija Żgħaġa, those present had the possibility to meet other people who work in the same youth sector in order to create opportunities for collaboration between them and to share thoughts of how the potential of young people can be reached for individual and societal benefit.
The Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti spoke about the importance of volunteers’ work with young people. “We can only meet the expectations we have for our young people thanks to the non-stop and dedicated work of the volunteers. Without this work, we as a government will certainly not be able to carry out the plans we have prepared for Maltese and Gozitan youth,” the Parliamentary Secretary repeated.
He encouraged the young people to experiment and open their horizons in order to continue growing and developing both personally and professionally. “The country needs young commitment in order to continue growing and expanding, not only on a local level, but also internationally on a level with other countries,” concluded Parliamentary Secretary Azzopardi Tanti.
CEO of Aġenzija Żgżażagħ Miriam Teuma said that, “This conference is bringing together the stakeholders in the youth industry so that we not only find and reach the potential of every young man and woman in Malta, but we extend and grow this potential. Thus the theme ‘Create your shape, Extend your potential’.”
