The five passengers onboard the Titan submersible died after the vessel suffered a “catastrophic implosion”, US Coast Guard reported.
A massive search and rescue mission was launched after the submersible was reported missing last Sunday.
Debris from the Titan was found by an ROV, (remotely operated vehicle), nearly 500 metres from the wreck of the Titanic.
