As much as we want to invest in formal education, we want to invest in informal education and the government will continue to take steps so that all children are in a position to develop all their skills.
This was the message of Prime Minister Robert Abela during a visit to Theater Lab Malta in Żebbuġ, a center that offers various drama workshops, including for children. The prime minister meant that with the guarantee for children that is being implemented, the government wants to see that all children have the same opportunities and reiterated that the investment in the artistic sector is one of the tools to children express themselves better and develop their talents.
During the visit, where the prime minister met with artists and teachers in the performing arts sector but also with many children, he stressed that incentives that improve the quality of life for families will continue to be strengthened. and access to these activities. Note here a Budget measure where working parents who send their children to extracurricular activities will begin to see an increase in the tax credit which will rise from €100 to €300.
“This is also an investment in the workers’ families”, stressed the prime minister.
At Theater Lab Malta, the prime minister was able to recognize the work done with the students who not only with the training they receive improve their artistic skills but also build more confidence and learn to work more in a group.
