The Ministry of Health says that a 68-year-old man died after contracting Covid-19.
The man, who was suffering from other health problems, was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on October 25 and was confirmed positive for Covid-19 the next day, October 26. He continued to be treated at Mater Dei Hospital where he died earlier today.
While offering condolences to relatives, the Ministry of Health continues to stress the importance of mask use, hand washing and physical distance.
