A 49-year-old English woman from St. Paul’s Bay is in a serious condition after she was involved in an argument in St. Paul’s Bay.
The incident happened in Tourist Street at around 10.45 pm Saturday night.
Police say when officers arrived at the scene they found the woman lying on the ground.
It is believed the woman had been involved in an argument with a Syrian nation who lives in Balzan.
The man is helping police with their inquiries.
