The Village of Artisans in Ta’ Qali has been given a Christmas look where from today until Christmas Eve a Christmas fair will be held with Maltese artisanal products.
Christmas at the Artisan Village continues to give more visibility and promotion to the artisans, both those who opened their business here, as well as others who took this opportunity to promote themselves through stalls that will be in this village during these days.
In addition to the artisans, there will also be many activities for children, including a bouncing castle, treasure hunt and photobooths. That way it will be an activity that both adults and children will enjoy. Christmas at the Artisan Village will be open every day, from 17.00 to 22.00 during the week and from 14.00 to 22.00 at weekends and public holidays.
During a visit made by the Minister for the Economy, European Funds and Lands Silvio Schembri, where he visited the last preparations for this fair, he thanked the artisans who are taking care of this activity. He visited some of their works in Ta’ Qali Village.
Meanwhile, the works in the Village of Artisans in Ta’ Qali are proceeding at a fast pace and by next year the Incubation and Interpretation Center will be completed. This center will also help to continue growing and protecting an essential part of our country’s culture.
Next year, INDIS, the entity responsible for the Artisan Village, will be announcing new branding for the Artisan Villages in Malta and Gozo. The aim of this branding is to give a new face to these villages, and connect the past with the present and the future.
