A 35-year-old Romanian man has been arrested in Spain in connection with a robbery at a house in Sta Venera in 2015.
Police investigations showed the man to be living in Spain where he was arrested after a European Arrest Warrant was issued, officers from the Spanish Civil Guard apprehended him. After appearing before a Spanish court, he was handed over to Maltese Police officers and brought to Malta.
He is expected to appear in court today.
