Hibernians beat Floriana with goals from Mickels and Sobcyzk

Floriana 0–2 Hibernians

Hibernians secured a 2–0 victory over Floriana, with an early strike from Mickels and a late header from Sobcyzk settling the contest.

Mickels opened the scoring after just five minutes to give Hibernians an early advantage.

Floriana pushed forward towards the end of the first half in search of an equaliser, but Hibernians held their lead.

The second goal arrived ten minutes from time. Bonnici delivered a cross from the left, Joseph Mbong flicked the ball on and Sobcyzk headed home to put Hibs 2–0 ahead.

That sealed the victory for Hibernians, with the score remaining unchanged at the final whistle.
