Food safety warning issued for three batches of Chef’s Choice frozen chicken mince

Malta’s Food Safety and Security Authority has advised consumers against eating three batches of Chef’s Choice Frozen Chicken Mince sold in 400 g packs. The authority said information from the operator indicated that the affected packs may contain excessive amounts of bone fragments.

Affected packs

• Packed 23 September 2026, use by 23 September 2027
• Packed 5 October 2026, use by 5 October 2027
• Packed 23 October 2026, use by 23 October 2027

The authority advises anyone with an affected pack to dispose of it or return it to the shop where it was bought.
