About Kim Wilde
Kim Wilde is one of the most successful and enduring figures in BriGsh pop music. Bursting
onto the scene in 1981 with the worldwide anthem "Kids in America," she quickly established herself as the leading female voice of the 80s, securing a record number of chart hits for a British female soloist that decade.
Throughout her career, Kim has sold over 30 million records and released iconic tracks
including "Chequered Love," "Cambodia," "You Came," and her US Billboard number 1 hit,
"You Keep Me Hangin' On." She has toured with legends like Michael Jackson and David Bowie and was named the Best British Female Solo Artist at the 1983 BRIT Awards.
Beyond the charts, Kim is a woman of many talents. In the late 90s, she famously pivoted to a successful career in horticulture, earning a Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show and
authoring several gardening books. However, her passion for music never faded. She
continues to tour globally.
