Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump have spoken by telephone on Wednesday according to White House sources. This is the first time the two men have spoken to each other since their disastrous meeting in the Oval Office last month.
Russia and Ukraine have exchanged hundreds of prisoners as arranged during the Trump-Putin call last night, Moscow says. "This is one of the largest POW exchanges. Returning home are our soldiers, sergeants, and officers," Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. 175 Ukrainian soldiers had been swapped for 175 Russians according to the Russian Defence Ministry.
