On Sunday morning, Civil Protection rescue teams responded to an emergency in Nadur after a woman suffered a broken leg while walking and required immediate medical assistance.
Due to the difficult terrain and limited access to the location, the casualty was carefully immobilized before being transported by a marine RHIB to Mġarr Harbour, where she was handed over to a medical team from Gozo General Hospital for further treatment.
