Prime Minister Robert Abela, during two separate events on the island of Gozo, inaugurated two new hotels, the Reef Hotel & Spa in Rabat and the Ben Hotel in Marsalforn — two hotels that reflect private investment that is continuing to strengthen the tourism product in Gozo.
During these visits, the Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri, was able to see up close how these two hotels are contributing to a quality, sustainable tourism product focused on an authentic experience for visitors and tourists who visit them.

The Ben Marsalforn Hotel is affiliated with the Meliá group. This hotel continues to strengthen the tourist offer not only in this locality with a modern concept, which combines comfort, relaxation and accessibility.
On the other hand, the Reef Hotel & Spa, located in Rabat, Gozo, is a hotel with approximately 110 rooms, wellness facilities and event spaces.
During these separate visits, the Prime Minister stated that Gozo plays an important role in the realisation of the Malta 2050 Vision, as the island of Gozo offers distinctive characteristics that are increasingly sought after by tourists due to its authenticity, calm and unique character as an island of villages.
Dr Abela added that the Government will continue to encourage sustainable tourism investment that continues to create economic activity throughout the year, supports local businesses and offers increasing stability to workers in the sector.
