The Food Safety Authority has warned consumers not to use Dark Mamba weight loss product.
The supplement was not notified as a food supplement locally as per provisions under S.L. 449.36 – Food Supplements Regulations.
The Superintendent of Public Health reminds the members of the public that food supplements can cause unwanted side effects, especially if taken without medical need or in excessive amounts. Supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet, and taking multiple products together may lead to harmful interactions with medications or existing health conditions. Individuals are therefore advised not to take food supplements unnecessarily and to always seek guidance from a doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional before starting any new supplement.
