On Saturday afternoon, the Malta Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) received a report from the Civil Protection Department that four people were in difficulty on a kayak in the area of Saint Thomas Bay. A rescue vessel was sent to the scene and successfully located the people in distress.
Following the rescue, all four were transferred to Mater Dei Hospital personnel for further treatment.
