A man has been sentenced to 2 years imprisonment and fined €1,500 after pleading guilty to charges related to drug trafficking.
The man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon during a surveillance operation in Ħamrun.
From searches carried out on him and his residence, approximately 80 grams of a suspected synthetic drug, 9 sachets of suspected cannabis, two blocks of suspected cannabis resin, drug paraphernalia and €3,000 in cash were found.
