Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri has announced that a group of Maltese soldiers has been recalled from a planned training mission in Jordan amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
The soldiers, part of Malta’s Special Operations Unit, were on their way to Jordon for specialized training when the decision was taken for them to return to Malta in light of the rapidly evolving situation in the region.
