A 34-year-old man has been arrested by the Police after being found to be in possession of more than 30 sachets of substance suspected to be cannabis, in circumstances which show that they were not for his personal use.
The Police stopped the man in Marsa Road, Marsa, when he tried to escape from them as soon as he saw them. Following a search, the Police found a number of sachets and cash in his jacket and trousers.
Today, he was arraigned in Court and charged with the possession and trafficking of drugs, he pleaded guilty and was remanded in custody.
