Two goals from Myles Beerman gave Floriana a 2-0 win over Tarxien Rainbows and extended Floriana’s lead in the Yo Health Malta Premier League to six points. There were only three minutes on the clock when Beerman put Floriana in front and he doubled that lead on the hour mark to extend Floriana’s lead in the premiership. Floriana are now four points clear of second place Hamrun Spartans and five ahead of Valletta.
Later today Hibernians take on Marsaxlokk knowing a win would lift them to second place, just three points behind Floriana. The same goes for M’xlokk who are level on points with Hibs….should be quite a game.
