In the Auberge de Castille, Prime Minister Robert Abela met with the President of the European Court of Justice Koen Lenaerts and Judge Ramona Frendo at the European Court of Justice.
In a positive meeting, different themes were discussed to further strengthen cooperation and dialogue between our country and the European Court of Justice.
The Prime Minister said that at a time when the European Union is confronted with legal and institutional challenges, the contribution of the European Court of Justice remains crucial.
Also present at the meeting were the Minister for Justice and Construction Sector Reform Jonathan Attard, the Permanent Secretary within the Ministry Johan Galea and the Advisor on European Affairs Leandro Borg.
