Andy Ellul, who is Parliamentary Secretary for Social Dialogue, has been tasked to run the Ministry for Social and Affordable Housing following the resignation of Roderick Galdes.
Prime Minister Robert Abela announced his appointment during a Labour Party event on Sunday morning.
Roderick Galdes resigned late on Saturday evening after months of allegations surrounding properties he is reported to own.
