t the Auberge de Castille, Prime Minister Robert Abela welcomed Aidan Cassar, Malta’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest which will be held next May, in Vienna, Austria.
Prime Minister Robert Abela congratulated Aidan Cassar for his performance and wished him every success both for the Eurovision Song Contest and for the future.
Dr Abela remarked on the ever-rising level of Maltese talent and maintained that the Government remains committed to continuing to invest in local artistic talent and to continuing to support festivals that offer Maltese artists an international platform to showcase their talent.
Together with Aidan Cassar were the Chairperson and Chief Executive of Public Broadcasting Services Anna Bonett and Keith Chetcuti respectively.
