The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anġlu Farrugia, has left Malta for India to participate in the Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth (CSPOC).
The Conference is being hosted by the Parliament of India and brings together Speakers and Presiding Officers of Commonwealth Parliaments to discuss matters of shared parliamentary interest and cooperation within the Commonwealth framework.
Speaker Farrugia is being accompanied by the Clerk of the House, Ms Eleanor Scerri, who has also been invited to participate in the conference in her official capacity.
