Police have deported a man who was handed a suspended sentence after he was convicted of a number of charges including robbery.
In 2025, the man had been charged in court with offences related to theft and drug possession in St Julian’s, among others. He was found guilty and handed a two-year prison sentence suspended for four years.
Following the court ruling that he be deported, the man was held in a detention centre until all arrangements for his return were completed.
