A 76-year-old man from Qormi lost his life after a wall of a building collapsed and fell on him and another 41-year-old.
This accident happened in Triq Farsina, in Qormi, at around a quarter to six on Saturday evening. The men were working on a wall in the garage of their property.
A medical team and Civil Protection crews were called to the scene. The elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene while the 41-year old, the son of the victim, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
