The Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri launched the 16th edition of Bethlehem in Għajnsielem. He described this activity as a unique experience because the organizers manage to marry traditional elements with the spirit of Christmas, represented in a living nativity scene, based on a Maltese concept.
This living nativity scene, spread over an area of 20,000 square meters and with more than 100 actors, will once again offer a wonderful experience of the greatest story of humanity. Minister Clint Camilleri stated that, “Today, Bethlehem in Għajnsielem has established itself as an expected activity in the Christmas calendar in Gozo. This year, the ‘Christmas in Għajnsielem’ programme is encompassing no less than 165 activities for everyone’s tastes and as a ministry, we remain committed to providing our support year after year to ensure that such attractions are put on display that keep our rich culture alive.”
Minister Clint Camilleri thanked the Għajnsielem Local Council, the volunteers and everyone who contributed to making this edition another success, as were the previous editions, which always attracted thousands and continued to confirm that Gozo is the choice for families during this festive period.
