Hamrun Spartans will be aiming for a win when they take on Marsaxlokk today to close the gap on Premier leaders Floriana. A win would leave them still second but only a point behind Floriana.
Valletta, third in table, are seven points behind leaders Floriana as they meet Sliema Wanderers in today’s second game. Last time out Valletta lost to Hamrun so today they should be fired up to make amends for that loss and stay in the top of the table chase. As for Sliema Wanderers, their 2-1 against Birkikara put them level with Valletta. All to play for for both teams.
