A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that took place at a convenience shop in Santa Venera.
The suspect allegedly entered the shop armed with a knife and stole cash after confronting the cashier, who suffered slight injuries and was treated at Mater Dei Hospital.
Following intensive investigations, the man was located and arrested in Mġarr.
