A surveillance operation on individuals suspected of being involved in a drug trafficking ring has led to the arrest of five men.
During a raid in a stable in Marsa, police discovered around 60 sachets containing heroin, as well as additional quantities of the same substance being prepared for distribution. Officers also found 160 sachets of synthetic drugs, together with more of the same substance being prepared for packaging.
This morning, three of the arrested were charged in court and were held in custody, while police investigations are still ongoing.
