Speaking at a Nationalist Party meeting in Zebbug, party leader Alex Borg again brought up the subject of a four day working week, saying a PN government would not be afraid to talk about controversial issues.
Touching on Monday’s Budget, he was supportive of a 280 euro travel allowance for Gozitian students attending courses in Malta.
Among proposals being touted by the Nationalist Party and parental leave for a year paid by the Government, a special tax bracket for parents who have a second child.
Alex Borg also brought up the issue of traffic, saying that a mass transportation system might take twenty years to complete and suggested that both parties work together so that no matter which party was in government, the project would be completed.
