Prime Minister Robert Abela held a meeting with the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Roxana Mînzatu at Castille.

On the agenda of the discussion were the social and labour sectors, with the Maltese Prime Minister stressing that our country has a strong labour sector and wants to continue creating quality careers. In this context, Dr Abela mentioned the investment in workers not only in strengthening working conditions but also in helping to improve workers’ skills.

Also present at the meeting were the Minister for Social Policy and Children’s Rights Michael Falzon, the Head of the Secretariat in the Office of the Prime Minister, Colonel Mark Mallia and the Prime Minister’s Advisor on European Affairs Leandro Borg.
