A 43-year-old British man died following an accident at the Blue Lagoon in Comino, police stated on Tuesday afternoon.
It is believed the man had just taken a slide into the lagoon from a tourist boat when he got into difficulties.
He was treated by a first aid team at the scene before a medical team took over but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Gozo General Hospital.
