Police arrested the alleged driver and two passengers a few hours after a fatal accident that occurred this morning in Triq Salvu Psaila, Birkirkara.
Early this morning, police were informed that a collision had taken place between a car and a motorcycle, with the car subsequently hitting three parked vehicles. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found that the driver and two passengers of the car had fled, while the motorcycle rider was unfortunately certified dead on site.
Police immediately launched a search for the persons involved, and the alleged 17-year-old driver along with two 18-year-old passengers were arrested a few hours later.
Investigations and the magisterial inquiry are still ongoing.
