Hamrun Spartans out of Champions League following 3-0 loss at Dynamo Kiev

Hamrun Spartans journey in the UEFA Champions League ended with a 3-0 loss away to Dynamo Kiev at the Arena Lublin in Poland.

Dynamo had a comfortable three goal advantage from the first leg in Malta last week and increased that lead with two goals in the first half. They added a third late in the second half to give them a 6-0 aggregate win and a place in the third qualifying round of the Champions League where they will meetthe winner of the tie between Pafos FC of Cyprus or Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel.

Hamrun Spartans drop into the UEFA Europa League and will play the loser of Pafos FC or Maccabi Tel Aviv in the third qualifying round.
